Born in December 1964, Yuan Yafei is the founder and Chairman of Sanpower Group Co., Ltd.He has served as a Member of the 12th and 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a Member of the Committee for Economic Affairs of the CPPCC, a Standing Committee Member of the 11th and 12th All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and Vice Chairman of the 10th and 11th Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce.

After graduating from Jinling Institute of Technology in 1987, Yuan began his career at the Audit Bureau of Yuhuatai District in Nanjing. In 1990, he spent six months working at Jinhua Village in Banqiao Town, also in Yuhuatai District, during which he authored a research report titled “An Investigation and Reflection on a Large Grain Producer”. The report drew high-level attention and subsequently led to his transfer to the Office of the CPC Yuhuatai District Committee. In 1993, inspired by Deng Xiaoping’s Southern Tour speeches, Yuan resigned from government service and started his entrepreneurial journey with an initial capital of RMB 20,000 on Nanjing’s Zhujiang Road, founding what later grew into Sanpower Group.

Under his leadership, Sanpower Group has developed into an innovative multinational private enterprise group with coordinated development across three major business sectors: “New Health, New Consumption, and New Technology”. The Group owns the A-share listed company Nanjing Xinbai as well as several major domestic and overseas enterprises. Sanpower currently employs 50,000 people worldwide, including more than 10,000 overseas staff.
