On 6th May 2014, a grand signing ceremony for cooperation agreement on transformation of the third people's hospital and construction of a joint-stock hospital in North district was held in Xuzhou city. Yuan Yafei, the chairman of Sanpower Group and Cao Xinping, the secretary of Xuzhou municipal party committee have attended the signing ceremony.

Chairman Yuan Yafei stated in the ceremony that he is also from Xuzhou and has been concerning about the development in his hometown; in response to our national call of the new policies about medical services reformation, we signed this agreement which is the outcome of the cooperation between Sanpower Group and Xuzhou municipal government over the past many years, furthermore, it is a new start for Sanpower Group to do our utmost to help Xuzhou’s development in the future. This action is not only beneficial to the improvement of people's living conditions in Xuzhou, but also a new opportunity for Sanpower Group to devote to the development of medical and health care services of this city. Chairman Yuan Yafei expressed sincere gratitude  to Xuzhou municipal party committee and government for their strong support and help and promised that Sanpower Group would take this opportunity as a starting point to make contribution to the development of medical and health care services in Xuzhou!

The Party secretary, Cao Xinping said, in recent years during the course in promoting scientific and leaping development in Xuzhou city, we have attached great importance to the development of medical and health care services and set the regional medical centres as one of the objectives of constructing “Eight Centres” in Huaihai economic zone. After repeated research and demonstration, the government has decided to choose the municipal tumour hospital as a pilot reform and cooperate with other two large enterprises, the provincial people’s hospital and Sanpower Group, to jointly establish a modern general hospital under the new joint-stock system in the North district based on their strength, brand and good faith. To build such a hospital is not only being innovative on the ownership system, but also effectively introducing the competition mechanism; moreover providing the people of our city a brand-new mode of medical service. Sanpower Group will give full play to its overall advantages in terms of medical service brand, talents, fund, management, etc., draw the planning and design of the hospital from a high starting point, implement the construction of the project with high quality and improve the hospital management to a high level, therefore ensure this joint-stock hospital in North district to be a large internationalized modern general hospital with distinctive features and to provide a better service to the people in our city and huaihai economic zone.
