On March 31, 2015, "Learning from Sushang", a famous-enterprise-visiting event that was jointly hosted by Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association and Jiangsu Sushang Institute, entered Sanpower Group. Nearly 50 entrepreneurs in Jiangsu came to the headquarters of Sanpower Group to learn its experience in innovation and transformation, business management, culture construction, etc. Ding Xiemin, former Vice Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress as well as Honorary President of Sushang Development Promotion Association, and Zhou Yibiao, Deputy Inspector of Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission, attended the event. Chairman of Sanpower Group Yuan Yafei and CEO Yang Huaizhen warmly received the guests.

The entrepreneurs first visited the hall of the Group and the Showroom of Sanpower Home. In the showroom, the entrepreneurs not only felt the 20 years' uncommon history of Sanpower Group and learned about its industrial distribution that features "Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth", or the Five Elements, but were also attracted by its unique corporate culture of "positivity, introspection, balance" and "kindness, reasonability, insight". Besides, the Group's management philosophy--"integrating Chinese traditional Confucian wisdom with Western modern management method"--also had profound impact and enlightenment on the visitors.

In the ensuing exchange, Yuan Yafei Chairman shared the logic underlying the Group's transitional development by referring to its recent investments and acquisitions. Yuan looked forward to more cooperation with the Sushang enterprises, adding that "in the age of the Internet one needs to learn to work together instead of alone.”

The visiting entrepreneurs said that since its creation in 1993, Sanpower Group gradually thrived, and established itself as a large conglomerate characterised by informatisation and focusing on modern service industry. It combines five large sectors into one, including Finance & Investment, Retail & Trading, Information Services, Medical & Health Care, and Real Estate. Such brilliant performance is amazing, which has also set an example for other enterprises in Jiangsu. In 2014 particularly, under the leadership of Chairman Yuan Yafei, Sanpower Group actively adapted to the new economic normal, conformed to the new changes in the development stage, fully accelerated the pace of international development, showing a new situation and normal of diverse advancements, overseas M&As, industrial collaboration, and management transition. At the beginning of the new year, Duke of Cambridge Prince William met twice with Yuan, which is the glory and pride of the enterprises of Jiangsu and even China.

It is learned that since May 2013, the famous-enterprise-visiting event "Learning from Sushang" has won the high commendation and emotional identification from the Sushang members, as well as formed a favourable brand effect in the business community in and outside the province. This event is the first among the famous-enterprise-visiting events that is sponsored by Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association for 2015, in which Sanpower Group's sharing attitude of "sincerity, pragmatism and effectiveness" has won unanimous praise.
