May 28, 2015 – The 117th anniversary of Peking University's founding was held on campus with Party Secretary of Peking University and Director of the Peking University Education Foundation, Zhu Shanlu, delivering a speech. Lin Jianhua, the President of Peking University revealed its future development plans to all those in attendance. Senior Vice President Yue Lei of the Sanpower Group attended the conference as a representative of the Group.

On May 4, 2015, Peking University welcomed in its 117th anniversary. Connecting itself tightly with the fate of China and Chinese nation, Peking University has led the cultivation of many social trends and growth of social conscience across various historical periods. 2015 is the year which will see the launch of Peking University's comprehensive reform, as well as being a key year towards maintaining status as a world-class university. Peking University and its Education Foundation have organised a series of exchange conferences not only to mark their anniversary, but to enable more creative’s to get involved in their mission and pool more resources to boost its social construction and development.
