Aug. 21 - A delegation headed up by Huang Lixin, Standing Committee member of the provincial Party Committee of Jiangsu, carried out a survey in Sanpower Group. Xiang Xuelong, Municipal Standing Committee member and Secretary-General of Nanjing, Huang Lan, Deputy Mayor, Zhang Yixin, Yuhuatai District Secretary, and Li Shifeng, District Mayor, accompanied Huang through the survey. Chairman of Sanpower Group Yuan Yafei and Vice President Wu Gang warmly received the guests.
As a renowned Nanjing-based enterprise, Sanpower Group has become a multi-national conglomerate whose core business engagements are within the technology and modern service industries. Sanpower Group offers a singular global platform for its five primary subsidiary investment sector-groups: Finance & Investment, Retail & Trading, Information Services, Medical & Health Care, and Real Estate. Especially in the last two years, Sanpower Group has been exerting great efforts to “go global” so as to realise turnaround, and has thereby launched a series of overseas acquisitions, becoming a typical representative of China’s private enterprises that “go global”.
Huang Lixin visited the showroom of Sanpower Group, learned about the Group’s development history and industrial layout, and debriefed Yuan Yafei’s introduction of the idea of its overseas acquisitions as well as the synergic development fruits after the acquisitions. At the end of the survey, Huang Lixin noted that she was “fairly moved and excited”. She fully affirmed Sanpower Group’s “going global” efforts that had advanced domestic industrial turnaround and upgrade, and highly appraised its management philosophy of “integrating Chinese traditional Confucian wisdom with western modern management method” as well as the core corporate values of “positivity, introspection, balance”. Huang Lixin encouraged Sanpower Group to redouble its efforts and make greater contributions to the development and turnaround of Nanjing’s economy.
