Sanpower Group wins “2015 Internationally Influential Brand of Jiangsu”

On December 19th, the second Selection Event for Jiangsu Brands’ Zijin Award and the “30 Years of Brands Shining in Jiangsu” large brand inquiry ceremony, which was jointly sponsored by the Jiangsu Trademark Association, Jiangsu Advertising Association and Yangtze Evening Post and technically supported by the Business School of Nanjing University, was held. Hundreds of the elites and well-known experts from government departments, established companies and relevant academic institutions all gathered together. Sanpower Group won the “2015 Internationally Influential Brand of Jiangsu”.
The current selection event for Jiangsu Brands’ Zijin Award was launched on May 10th, lasting more than 6 months, and over 1,000 enterprises within and outside the province entered. After fierce competition and the impartial votes were tallied, Sanpower Group won the award of “2015 Internationally Influential Brand of Jiangsu”, given its excellent achievements in overseas acquisitions and transnational development strategies. Wu Yongcai, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Industrial and Commercial Bureau, Zhao Shuming, Dean of the Business School of Nanjing University, and Wang Wenjian, Chief Editor of Yangtze Evening Post, presented the awards to the winning enterprises.
Beginning in 2014, Sanpower Group officially launched its international strategy. Sanpower Group and its subsidiaries successively acquired the quintessential British department store House of Fraser, American novelty product retailer Brookstone and Israeli medical service enterprise Natali. These acquisitions expanded its business to regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, etc. After finishing its series of mergers and acquisitions, Sanpower Group has made full use of domestic and international markets and resources, synergised with domestic and foreign businesses, introduced advanced overseas operation models and management systems, to realise rapid transformation and corner domestic markets. With the international development of its business, the Group’s public welfare efforts are also marching to the same drum. During President Xi Jinping’s visit to Britain, Sanpower Group and the British Royal family mutually established the Wildlife Protection Foundation, which set a new trend for public welfare cooperation between China and Britain.
As the successful representative of “going global” this year, Sanpower Group shared its achievements at the overseas investment conference of “the Belt and Road” and “going global” with many.
