The Orient Fraser Nanjing Project is opening soon. As promotion for development of the project, Orient Fraser held a grand startup conference for the project at Cenbest, in Nanjing on 17 March. Yang Huaizhen, President of Sanpower Group and Chairman of Cenbest Group, Huang Jiaqiang, Vice President of Sanpower Group, Fu Dunxun, President of Cenbest Group, Zhu Aihua, Party Secretary of Cenbest Group, Kong Jun, Chief Executive of House of Fraser China, the management team House of Fraser China and all the Orient Fraser staff took part in the conference. This was the first official gathering between the project management team of the House of Fraser China and all the staff of Nanjing Orient Fraser, which marked the official start of operations and preparation work for the Nanjing Orient Fraser project.

Wang Kaimin, Senior Director of Operations of the House of Fraser China and general manager of Orient Fraser introduced the Nanjing project.

Jin Liping, HR manager of House of Fraser China proposed a plan for human resources and his expectations, with the goal of becoming a “career partner”.

 

 

Kong Jun, Chief Executive of House of Fraser China, shared a medium and long-term strategic plan for the Orient Fraser project. He stressed competitiveness and highlighted the 3.0 management department store mode of “house brands + own-bought brands + scene mode sales”, hoping the concerted efforts of the team would ensure a bright future and make Orient Fraser the benchmark department store of the Chinese retail industry.

 

 

Yang Huaizhen, President of Sanpower Group and Chairman of Cenbest Group, wound up the conference and offered some advice. She noted that in the strategic plan of “Broad Commerce, Broad Health, and Broad Finance” of Sanpower Group, the Orient Fraser project is a most important step and the focus project of the Sanpower and Cenbest Groups. “Business is war without bullets; victory is the final target.” Yang Huaizhen recognised the strategic plan and prospects of the House of Fraser and gave instructions for preparation work. She noted that House of Fraser project had the advantage of good timing and geographic convenience. The key factor for success was “people”. Grass roots, middle-ranking and senior leaders of the team should always be aware of the common goal in the performance of their duties. Grass roots should be able to come down to earth and do their part. The middle ranks should have “virtue”, they should plan operations, but also make plans for the people. Senior leaders should have the “mind” and the strategies. Yang Huaizhen placed stress on the idea that the team should “adjust mental attitudes, correct their attitude towards work, and clarify goals” in preparation work, and they should also define the future with the future. She said, “I hope that in five years’ time when we celebrate again, and after Orient Fraser has risen to the forefront of its league, none of us here today will be missing!”
