From now on, the visas of the four countries Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland can be applied in Nanjing. On July 5, the Joint Visa Application Centre for Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland in Nanjing held its opening ceremony. Consul-General Mr. Peter Franz Josef Rothen of Consulate General of Germany in Shanghai, Consul-General Mr. Axel Cruau of Consulate General of France in Shanghai, Consul-General Mr. Anneke Adema of Consulate General of the Netherlands in Shanghai and Consul-General Mr. Alexander Hoffet of Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai and Deputy Director of Huang Xiqiang of Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu People's Government attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Senior Vice President Yue Lei of Sanpower Group attended the ceremony upon invitation and held talks with the Consul Generals of the four countries.
According to Consul-General Mr. Peter Franz Josef Rothen, there are nearly a thousand German-funded enterprises in Jiangsu conducting close bilateral economic and trade cooperation. The opening of the Nanjing Visa Application Centre is to bring better services for the enterprises and people in Jiangsu and to promote people-to-people contact and trade exchanges between Jiangsu and the four countries.
As an enterprise representative of “going global” in Jiangsu, Sanpower Group is now accelerating its international development and currently has established contacts with multinational Consulate Generals in Shanghai and has maintained friendly cooperation with France and the Netherlands. Sanpower Group attended the opening ceremony under the inactivation of the Netherlands. In his talks with the Consul-Generals of the four countries, Yue Lei expressed his hope to deepen exchanges and seek cooperation opportunities focusing on “Broad Commerce, Broad Health, and Broad Finance” sectors.
