In the beginning of 2017, Sanpower Junjian, a subsidiary of Sanpower Media and Entertainment Industry Group, signed several film & television contracts. The company plans to invest in various films and TV dramas starred by some big names. According to Dong Wei, General Manager of Sanpower Junjian, the company will launch a drama themed with core values of China in cooperation with CCTV and Propaganda Department of CPC Nanjing Committee. In addition, the company has invested over 100 million yuan in a web drama themed with entrepreneurship, murder and technology. And many actors including some “fresh meat” will star in this drama.

The final episode of “Make You Happy”, a modern drama co-produced by Sanpower Junjian, was shown on January 2nd, 2017. The ratings of the drama surpassed 1%, ranking the 3th in the TV dramas recently broadcast on CCTV. Zou Yan, General Producer of the drama and Vice President of the Group, said despite lack of pretty faces, the drama combined “love” with hot issues of the society and touched the audience with outstanding acting and brilliant plots.

As a newly established subsidiary of Sanpower Media and Entertainment Industry Group, Sanpower Junjian is a professional cultural funding management company. In 2017, it will invest more in films and televisions. Besides, it will establish its own cinemas through M&A activities to update the ecological chain of “production + channel” and synergise proactively with other departments of the Group.
