On 9 February, Chairman of Capital Eight (an investment banking advisory firm headquartered in Shanghai) Joanne Wood and Manager Tang Renwei visited Sanpower Group to seek cooperation. Yue Lei, Senior Vice President of Sanpower Group and Ambassador of United for Wildlife (UfW), received the guests.
The guests visited the Sanpower Corporate Culture Showroom and gained a deeper understanding of Sanpower Group’s development and its positioning in the fields of Broad Consumption, Broad Finance and Broad Health. Wood repeatedly praised Sanpower for its rapid development. In Brookstone concept store, Wood played with many of the novelty products with great interest. In the Ageing Service Command Centre, she experienced multiple kinds of smart homecare products.
Joanne also visited House of Fraser China in the company of Kong Jun, the CEO of House of Fraser China. She showed great interest in the British-style services and house brands provided by HOF China.
As a man with a spirit of public service who, like Joanne Wood, is particularly concerned with wildlife protection, Yue Lei enjoyed a deep discussion with Wood and gave her a present. He said, “At present, Sanpower is on a path to international development, so it not only needs a strong team, but also powerful partners. I hope both parties can effectively coordinate resources based on the strategic advantages of both companies going forward. Sanpower will continue to be open, cooperative and happy to share, keep in contact with Capital Eight and seek opportunities to cooperate.” At the same time, Yue Lei said that he’d like to strengthen dialogue and cooperation on charity and public benefit activities, and strengthen contact on biodiversity maintenance and wildlife protection with Joanne Wood.
Joanne Wood said that Capital Eight’s specific businesses were providing a number of great companies with support in terms of M&A and corporate finance consulting. At the same time, she also related Capital Eight’s advantages in terms of resources and shared successful case studies. Wood showed great interest in Sanpower’s business structure and hoped to discuss with Sanpower cooperation and business opportunities and how to support Sanpower in investment in the future.
