On 14 February, Zhao Aijun, Mayor of Anshan, Liaoning Province, led the Deputy Secretary-General of Anshan Municipal People’s Government Peng Yunfu and Mayor of Qianshan District Jin Hongli, among others, on a visit to Sanpower Group.

They were received by Chen Xiaohua, Vice President of Public Relations at Sanpower Group, Wang Jichen, Assistant President of the Group and Business Director of the Biotherapeutics Strategic Service Management Centre, Zhang Yingjian, Director of the External Cooperation Management Centre, He Songhua, Director of the Finance Strategic Service Management Centre, and Yang Jun, Vice President of An Kang Tong.

Zhao Aijun and his companions visited Sanpower Home. After acquiring an understanding of Sanpower Group’s business positioning in the areas of Broad Consumption, Broad Health and Broad Finance, as well as the company’s fast developing overseas presence, the guests were full of praise for Sanpower Group’s corporate strategy. The guests then visited Brookstone concept store where they could experience a range of novelty and bestseller products.

During the discussion the two parties explored potential cooperation. Zhao Aijun introduced basic information about Anshan, the third largest city in Liaoning Province and one of the top 30 cities in China in terms of comprehensive strength. The city is known as the “republic’s steel capital” and “China’s jade capital”. At the same time, Zhao Aijun invited Sanpower Group to visit Anshan, to make adequate preparations for investing in Anshan. Chen Xiaohua presented proposals for the direction of industry cooperation between Sanpower Group and Anshan. Zhang Yingjian, Wang Jichen, He Songhua and Yang Jun gave additional opinions on medical care, finance, senior care and other industry cooperation projects.

After the discussion, the Chairman of Sanpower Group Yuan Yafei warmly welcomed the guests and introduced Sanpower’s development plans in the areas of homecare and healthcare. Meanwhile, Yuan introduced the logic behind Sanpower Group’s overseas M&A strategy, as well as the Group’s efforts to promote the transformation and upgrade of China’s industry and structural reform of the supply side by bringing in advanced foreign supply chains and sales based on experience-based interactions. In the end, Yuan spoke highly of Anshan for attaching great importance to the development of the business environment. He expressed his intention to invest in Anshan and directed the relevant departments to visit Anshan to investigate the city as soon as possible.
