Sanpower Warmly Welcomes Mr. Chen Xudong in Formally Joining the Group

On May 17th, former Senior Vice President of Lenovo Group, Mr. Chen Xudong, formally joined Sanpower Group as Global Senior Vice President, where he will oversee the company’s consumer electronics and novelty products business sector.


Chen Xudong brings an extensive set of experiences from his work in the IT product industry, including localization, marketing, business operations, quality management, and channel management. This expertise is further complemented by his broad international perspective. Sanpower Group is pleased to welcome Chen Xudong in joining the company and firmly believes his rich knowledge and global vision will greatly advance the Group’s related set of consumer electronics and novelty product businesses.




Chen Xudong joined Lenovo in 1993 and successively served in several managerial roles, including those for Regional Sales, Commerce, Marketing, Quality, and Channel Management. Beginning in 2005, Chen Xudong was promoted to a series of executive roles, including Vice President of Channel Sales and Consumer Business for the Asia Pacific Region, and President of Emerging Markets for the China and Asia Pacific Regions.

 

Chen Xudong’s Abbreviated Work History at Lenovo Group:

·         2004-2006, served as General Manager of Channel Sales

·         April 2005, promoted to Vice President of Lenovo Group

·         2006-2008, responsible for Channel Sales and Consumer Business for the Asia Pacific Region

·         December 2008 – December 2009, successively responsible for the Asia Pacific and Russia Regions, and Strategy and Operations of Emerging Markets

·         December 2009, served as General Manager for the China Region

·         October 2011, promoted to Senior Vice President of Lenovo Group and President for the China Region;

·         April 2014, served as President of Emerging Markets for the China and Asia Pacific Regions

·         November 2014, served as CEO of Zuk Mobile

·         June 2015, served as President of Mobile Business Group

·         November 2016, responsible for Global Services

·         May 2017, joined Sanpower Group
