As a part of a series of 2017 Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair(GIEF) events, China (Chengdu)Global Unicorn Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit was held in Chengdu recently. Themed “Creating Miracles and Optimizing Exchanges”, the Summit was hosted by Chengdu Municipal People’s Government and organized by Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Office of Finance Service as well as Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. WangTongyan, Sanpower Vice President and Chairman of Shanghai Find Bio-Tech, WuLanlin, Assistant President of Sanpower Biomedicine, and Li Jun, General Manager of Shanghai Find Bio-Tech,attended the Summit upon invitation. 

At the Summit, WangTongyan shared with participants Sanpower’s plan and development concept in the Broad Health industry. Starting as a retailer, Sanpower is preparing to create a health industry ecosystem where “the living have hope, the sick have access to medical care and the elderly are taken care of” and establish a cradle-to-grave service platform within a decade, with biomedicine, hospital management as well as health and senior care as starting points. The joining of Find Bio-Tech in Sanpower will form synergies with its existing industrial ecosystem in various dimensions, jointly accelerating their drive into genetic detection market.It also marks a further step of Sanpower to integrate a Broad Health industry platform that centers on precision medicine and is supported by tumor, maternity and rehabilitation hospitals, in its process of developing into a healthcare group with an international outlook. 

With a third-party independent medical examination (IME) qualification, Find Bio-Tech is a high-tech enterprise specialized in clinical application, R&D and promotion of high-throughput sequencing technology. As a representative enterprise of Unicorn to attend 2017 GIEF, Find Bio-Tech attracted many participants at the fair to discuss the application and development of genetic detection techniques in areas such as medical examination, promoting its development as well as mature and advanced detection technology for the purpose of integrating and exchanging resources and creating a better future through innovation and entrepreneurship.
