Last year, Wildaid, followed by more than 100 business celebrities, made a public appeal for the protection of rhino and promised to forbid any illegal trade in rhino horn and any other wildlife products before the opening of the third international conference on combating the illegal trade in wildlife in Hanoi, Vietnam. Yue Lei, the Chinese Ambassador of United for Wildlife (UfW) and the Vice President of Sanpower Group, was honored to be invited to the conference and achieved preliminary consensus on the partnership.
For the appointment from last year, the CEO of Wildaid China Steve Blake visited Sanpower Group on this Tuesday and came for the further discussion with Vice President Yue Lei on the partnership.
CEO of Wildaid China Steve Blake visited Sanpower Family
Yue Lei offered his greetings for the visit of Steve and delivered his wishes on the partnership mainly on three aspects: firstly, we need to enhance the mutual communication and strive for new partnership opportunities; secondly, both sides will launch the press conference on this strategic partnership and allow the participation of more companies on the protection of wildlife based on the mechanism of “professional organizations plus private enterprises”; thirdly, we will be committed to developing online and offline activities featured by innovations and collaboration for both sides. We are willing to produce a new sample of the synergy between Wildaid and private enterprises and build the benchmark for the public services.

Steven gave his consent to Yue Lei’s perspective on mutual partnership on wildlife protection and he was relieved to witness the contribution of Yue Lei and Sanpower Group on wildlife protection. Steve considered that he will value the partnership opportunities with private enterprises like Sanpower Group and make joint efforts to the work of wildlife conservation.
After the meeting, both parties expressed their expectations to protect wildlife with joint efforts and will carry out diversified and all-round activities. All we have done is to respect the nature and cherish our lives which are indispensible for the future of our offsprings and families.
