Yang Huaizhen Selected Into China W20

On October 26, the Mulan Academy Opening Ceremony took place at Langrun Park, National School of Development at Peking University. Present were 57 top businesswomen from different fields. Yang Huaizhen, President of Sanpower Group (Sanpower) was invited to the ceremony and attended the three-day first session course as a representative of China Women Leaders 20 (China W20) alongside Dong Mingzhu, Chairman of Gree; Deng Yaping, President of Deng Yaping Group Co., Ltd.; Hu Weiwei, Founder and President of Mobike and other businesswomen.

The market value or estimate value of member enterprises of China W20 averages 42.528 billion yuan



The 1st China W20 of Mulan Academy has 21 members. Eight members' enterprises have been listed, accounting for roughly 38.1 percent. The total and average market value or estimated value of the member enterprises is 893.089 billion yuan and 42.528 billion yuan respectively. (Round to two decimal places, the market value or estimated value of Huanghe S&T University (HHSTU) is calculated based on the value of teaching and research instruments and equipment due to the special identity of its president)




The member enterprises are in seven domestic provinces and municipalities, 86 percent are in Beijing, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Guangdong. They cover a wide range of industries, most (19 percent) are in the manufacturing and life service industries, followed by the e-commerce industry (about 14 percent). Educational enterprises and financial payment enterprises both account for roughly 10 percent.




All members hold bachelor's degrees or above. 57 percent hold master's or doctor's degrees. 19 percent studied abroad, including at prestigious universities like University of Cambridge. Besides, the members have a wide age range, those born in the 1960s are backbone and three (14 percent) were born in the 1980s.




The average operation period of the member enterprises is 16 years, and about 80 percent have operated for more than four years and become industrial leaders. Time Group and HHSTU established earliest in 1984 have operated for 33 years alike.
