On 31^st, May 2018, the 6^th Conference of Singapore-Nanjing Key Project Cooperation Committee was held in Nanjing. As co-chairs of the Committee, Lan Shaomin, the mayor of Nanjing, and Koh Poh Koon, Minister of State in the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, jointly attended the conference, and co-signed the 2018-2019 annual working program of the Cooperation Committee. Yuan Yafei, Chairman of Sanpower Group, was visible at the gather where he spoke as a Chinese enterprise representative.

In recent years, as one of the largest Chinese investors in Singapore, Sanpower Group hasincreasingly frequent interactions with Singapore. Consequently, the two parties have achieved win-win targets. In 2016, Nanjing Cenbest, a listed company of Sanpower Group, acquired Cordlife Group Limited, marking a key investment by Nanjing-based firms.Yuan Yafei noted that it was the sixth time that Singapore-Nanjing Cooperation Committee Conference has been held and Sanpower Group has been to every session. Sanpower Group is a strong advocate for bilateral cooperation. He called for communication and cooperation be strengthened between Singapore and China.

It is reported that since the holding of the Conference of Singapore-Nanjing Key Project Cooperation Committee, it has played a positive role in promoting the cooperation between Nanjing and Singapore in various fields. According to the 2018-2019 annual working program, the two parties will further innovate ways to drive a new phase of cooperation.
