Zhang Haidong, the standard-bearer of Chinese delegation in Sydney Paralympic Games and Athens Paralympic Games, was a fighter permanently handicapped by poliomyelitis, and won weightlifting gold medals in four consecutive Paralympic Games. Another identity of the Paralympic champion is the employee of Sanpower Group. Because of disability, Zhang was given the cold shoulder by many employers. In 2002, after learning his misfortune by accident, Chairman of Sanpower Group Yuan Yafei made an exception to engage Zhang, gave him the same treatment and opportunities for promotion, and encouraged him to participate in physical training, so as to continuously strengthen his confidence to march forward bravely.

Over the years, Sanpower Group has been responding positively to the call of the employment expansion policy, and earnestly cooperating with the government to alleviate "employment difficulty".
