On December 18, in the balmy winter sun, a bloodmobile drove straight into Sanpower headquarters at NO. 68, Software Avenue. In response to the call of blood donation as well as to guarantee the clinical blood supply of Jiangsu Province, Sanpower Group launched a blood donation activity in its headquarters with the City Red Cross Blood Centre. The volunteers of Sanpower Volunteers Society enthusiastically participated, and finally110 successfully donated their blood, demonstrating their love and dedication.

The winter season is the slack season for blood donation. Currently the number of donators on the street of Nanjing has plummeted, and resultantly the blood banks of major hospitals are running out again. After learning the news, Sanpower Group stepped forward determinedly and quickly organised the blood donation event.

On the spot, the volunteers went through physical checkup, blood test and blood collection in an orderly manner in accordance with the requirements of. Yue Lei, Vice President of the Group as well as Chairman of Trade Union, was the first donator. Sanpower Group’s trickling blood and oozing care added to the warmth of this winter, and have passed positive energy to society.

In addition to donors, the staff of SVS were also hustling and bustling on the spot, checking the checkup form, handing over milk, bread, brown sugar water, as well as offering donation certificates and souvenirs.
