On the afternoon of December 29, 2014, an archival work evaluation group, led by Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Archives Bureau Xiang Ruiquan, carried out the on-site evaluation on Sanpower Group’s comprehensive archives room for qualification as Four-star Archival Work Unit. Executive Vice President of Sanpower Group Hua Guikan attended the on-site evaluation.

Through listening to the reports on-site, viewing on-site, raising questions, etc., and in light of the evaluation rules of “Jiangsu Provincial Organs, Organisations, Enterprises and Institutions Archival Work Norms”, the evaluation group carried out all-round acceptance inspection on Sanpower Group’s archival work in terms of organisation and management, underlying business, information construction, development and utilisation, etc. After a comprehensive evaluation, Sanpower Group archives room finally passed Jiangsu Provincial four-star archival work evaluation at 114.5 points (out of 120).

Deputy Director Xiang Ruiquan spoke highly of Sanpower Group’s archival work, saying that under the leadership of Chairman Yuan Yafei, Sanpower Group’s archival work has achieved good results as regards archival institution construction, archives management, archives informatisation etc., which has fully reflected the two functions of evidence protection and information support of archival work, as well as played a significant role in documenting the history of enterprise development, safeguarding the rights and interests of enterprises, standardising enterprise management, accumulating corporate culture, and promoting enterprise development. Meanwhile, Xiang proposed guidance to the Group’s archival work: First, to further strengthen the full awareness of archives, enhance the sense of responsibility for archival work, reinforce the accumulation of archives, and further enrich the contents of the archives. Second, to continue to strengthen the construction of archival informatisation. Targeting the resources sharing and convenient use of archival information, to solidly and steadily promote archives informatisation, improve the safe-use system of archives, continuously ameliorate the modernised archives management level, so as to provide more convenient, fast, and effective use of internal management and external applications. Third, to further establish long-term archives management mechanism, summarise and adhere to proven methods and measures to effectively do a good job of archives management and ensure the long-term development of archival work.

Executive Vice President Hua Guikan firstly extended his heartfelt thanks to the leaders and experts of the evaluation group, and said that Sanpower Group will take the opportunity of this archival work evaluation to seriously implement Deputy Director Xiang’s recommendations for Sanpower Group’s archival work, further strengthen and improve archives management, strive to enhance the level of archive informatisation, consolidate the results achieved, and establish a sound long-term management mechanism, so that the archival work can centre closely around the business centre, as well as better provide a wealth of archival resources for enterprise development.

It is learned that only two private enterprises were entitled "Four-star" Archival Work Unit this year in Nanjing, and Sanpower Group is one of them.
