On the morning of December 31, 2014, Qinhuai Model Worker Innovation Workshop Union (the Union) and the trade union of Nanjing Cenbest jointly cheered up the needy workers and provided pairing support for students in the multi-purpose hall of Cenbest Group, which was a major event the Union had carried out since its foundation. This is the specific embodiment of doing practical things for employees and solving their problems, the specific initiative to build a harmonious and happy Qinhuai, as well as the specific practice to delineate the Qinhuai part of Chinese Dream. Qinhuai District Committee, Chairman of District Federation of Trade Unions Wang Xiangming, Chairman of Municipal Trade Union of Finance and Trade Chen Shunxi, CEO of Cenbest Group Fu Dunyi etc. attended the event.

During the event, Cenbest Group presented relief to 239 needy employees of municipal and district levels; 10 Cenbest worker models sent pairing support grants to children of needy employees; Special Assistant to the Chairman of Nanjing Cenbest Group, Vice Chairman of the Union Tao Peifen addressed a warm speech on behalf of Cenbest Tao Peifen Model Worker Innovation Workshop. Wang Xiangming put forth three points on behalf of Qinhuai District government and the District Federation of Trade Unions: First, continue to improve the support mechanism for needy workers to better provide quality services. Second, continue to innovate methods to support the study of employees’ children to realise their dreams of amounting to something. Third, continue to explore the Union building characteristics, and better promote the spirit of model workers. As a new platform of non-profit organisation of the masses for carrying forward the spirit of model workers in the new era, the Union can play a wider role of model workers, lead the staff to carry out innovative activities to achieve cross-sectoral, multi-function, and multi-level mutual learning and exchanges, thereby realising resource sharing.

The needy employees workers extended their gratitude to Cenbest Group. A student parent pledged to encourage the kid to nurture perseverance and enthusiastic spirit, translate the Party and the government's care as well as trade unions and Cenbest model workers’ love into the motivation to learn, and forge ahead to serve the motherland and society with superb academic performace.
