ACFIC visits Sanpower Group to survey corporate social responsibility

July 1 - To compile "Report on Social Responsibility of China's Private Enterprises 2014", Liu Wei, Vice Minister of Department of Poverty Relief and Social Service of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) visited Sanpower Group with ACFIC's Corporate Social Responsibility Report Editorial Board. Senior Vice President of Sanpower Group Yue Lei received the guests.


In the forum, Yue Lei elaborated on Sanpower's corporate social responsibility practices in terms of development, staff, legal and charity responsibilities. Yue noted that the continued thriving of enterprises is the best way to fulfill their social responsibility, and that after 23 years of development, Sanpower Group has not only provided a multitude of jobs for the community, but also enhanced the influence of Chinese brands in the international market. Sanpower attaches great importance to the training of employees, with "providing opportunities for employees and creating value for customers" as its tenet. The Group not only has its own legal team, abut also partners with internationally-renowned law firms and legal experts to ensure that its overseas M&A activities conform to laws. Besides, Sanpower Group has been trying to make charitable giving to the community. "Sanpower Volunteers Society", established in 2013, has launched a series of public welfare activities with a view to "caring the old and the disabled, helping the poor and the students, as well as preserving the environment".


Vice Minister Liu Wei recognised Sanpower Group's clear development ideas of social responsibility, noting that Sanpower Group has provided more inspirations for the compilation of "Report on Social Responsibility of China's Private Enterprises 2014". She added that the two sides will strengthen exchanges in the future, and jointly promote the development of social responsibility of private enterprises, so as to better contribute to the community.
