On November 4, the two-day 2015 Cross-Strait CEO Summit was concluded in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Central Politburo Standing Committee of the CPC and CPPCC Chairman, attended the summit and made a speech. Zeng Peiyan and Vincent Siew, the presidents of Cross-Strait CEO Summit from both sides of the Strait and more than 800 entrepreneurs and representatives of important industrial and commercial organizations attended the summit. Yue Lei, Senior Vice President of Sanpower Group, was invited to attend the summit.


The summit saw in-depth discussions on cross-strait industry integration and innovative cooperation models. Consensus was reached on a number of topics and 34 agreements signalling intent to cooperate were signed. The summit achieved fruitful results. Yu Zhengsheng noted that since its launch in 2013, the Cross-Strait CEO Summit has united cross-strait entrepreneurs and experts, held annual conferences, organised dialogues and exchanges and promoted project cooperation. Its work has achieved strong results. This year’s summit focused on innovative cooperation models and promoting industrial integration. The summit hosted intensive discussion and helped build consensus, and is bound to play a positive role in deepening cross-strait economic cooperation and improving the well-being of our cross-strait compatriots.
