Large-scale overseas media delegation visits Sanpower Group

On November 11th, a large-scale overseas media delegation of “View Jiangsu in the Context of the Belt and Road Initiative”, sponsored by the News Office of the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and China Daily, visited the headquarters Sanpower Group. Nearly 30 journalists from 18 media outlets across 15 different countries around the world, including Zhang Guanjun, Division Chief of the Foreign Exchange Office of the Publicity Department of Jiangsu Province, and Sun Shangwu, Deputy Chief Editor of China Daily, gained insight into Sanpower Group. Yue Lei, Vice President of Sanpower Group, accompanied by the Group Assistant President Hua Guikan, warmly welcomed the guests.



It is known that the overseas media for the large-scale interview event consists of media from all over the world which includes Asian Economic News of South Korea, La Agencia EFE of Spain, Kwongwah Daily of Malaysia, Sun Star of the Philippines, the National Multimedia Group of Thailand, China Daily of China, to name but a few. The media delegation will visit four cities: Nanjing, Xuzhou, Lianyungang and Suzhou. The activity aims to comprehensively show the important position of Jiangsu Province for the improvement in the cultural soft power of the Silk Road to the international community and publicise the international image of “Beautiful Jiangsu”.



As the representative of enterprises “going global” in Jiangsu Province, Sanpower Group is an important station on the trip to Nanjing for the media delegation. Yue Lei led the media delegation to visit the international development map at the Group headquarters hall and visit the Sanpower Home. He introduced the development history and its international development strategy in great detail. The journalists of media appreciated the rapid development and international strategy of Sanpower Group and showed great interest in plans for the future development of Sanpower Group as well.



Li Qiuyuan, Head of the special newsgroup of Kwongwah Daily, the Malaysian Mandarin paper founded by Sun Yat-Sen, conducted an in-depth interview on Yue Lei. She paid close attention to the development plan of Sanpower Group in Malaysia and said that after going back to Malaysia, she will edit the interview as news material and publish it. Sun Shangwu, Deputy Chief Editor said that recently China Daily has been engaged in a global deployment effort and strives to cover both print media and new media. He enthusiastically invited Sanpower Group to use its global news platform to expand the influence of the enterprise in the process of “going global”.
