On Christmas Eve, the global headquarters of Sanpower Group was aglow and full of song and laughter. 300 people, including executives and veteran employees of the Group and each industry platform as well as distinguished guests from various sectors, celebrated at Sanpower Group’s 2015 Christmas Party, which was not only held for celebrating Sanpower Group’s achievements in 2015 but also to look ahead to Sanpower Group’s development in 2016.

In 2015, Sanpower Group achieved much, including attracting global attention in regards to domestic and international synergy, which was held aloft by its “business internationalisation” and “public welfare internationalisation” strategies. Meanwhile, 2015 is also the “Year of Synergy” for Sanpower Group because each industry platform and enterprises at home and abroad coordinated their pursuit of the “Sanpower Dream”. Combined with Sanpower Group’s achievements this year, this Christmas party was divided into four chapters, namely, the “International Chapter”, “Transformation Chapter”, “Public Welfare Chapter” and “Family Love Chapter”.

Yang Huaizhen, President of Sanpower Group, and Chairman of Nanjing Cenbest and Hiteker, was the first to propose a toast. She harkened back to the three main business structures of Sanpower Group of “Broad Health, Broad Commerce, Broad Finance” in 2015 under the leadership of Chairman in Yuan Yafei. She also hoped that in 2016 the staff would continue to work hard and persist in helping Sanpower Group to go global in 2016, thus reaching a higher level in their future work.

The party opened with “Go for Your Dream”, and a children’s dance performance called the Paradise of Toys to celebrate the classic British toy brand Hamleys coming to Nanjing the next year. The acrobatic show the Power of Synergy is a combination of strength and beauty, showing the spirit of synergy. Sanpower Group staff performed Tai Chi, demonstrating the spirit of the people at Sanpower that “couples strength with grace in life”. The party’s first highlight was the song Ode to Sanpower, sung by Group executives. Ode to Sanpower, written by Chairman Yuan Yafei, was put to popular Chinese music. Executives’ passion-filled singing decisively and vividly showed the spirit of the people here at Sanpower through the lyrics, “We can take one step and we can take a thousand steps. The wise are free from uncertainty, the courageous are free from fear.” More than ten robots danced on stage, agilely moving in unison—an impressive sight indeed.

In 2015, Sanpower Group made a giant step forward in terms of public welfare. Chairman Yuan Yafei was selected as Vice President of the China Society for the Promotion of the Guangcai Program and mutually launched the Wildlife Protection Foundation with Prince William. Sanpower Group’s “Broad Health” looked after billions of the elderly. The party’s song and dance show “Warming the World with Love” and a short sketch interview both showed the great love of Sanpower Group.

The annual Sanpower Group’s Christmas New Year Party is also a celebration of Chairman Yuan Yafei’s birthday. The global blessing video was another highlight. The staff of British House of Fraser, British Hamleys, American Brookstone, Israeli Natali, Hong Kong IDT International, platforms across the country and dozens of representatives from partners including John Edwards, British Consul-General in Shanghai; Stephen Philips, President of the China-Britain Business Council; Rachid Bakhtaoui, partner of the Royal Madrid Club; Erick Thohir, President of Inter Milan; Roger Sperry, Global CEO of Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and film star Ray Lui, sent their merriest holiday greetings and birthday wishes to Chairman Yuan Yafei from all over the world. Nanjing Cenbest in Nanjing Xinjiekou Square also held a grand lighting ceremony to wish Chairman Yuan Yafei a happy birthday.

Everyone at the party sent cake to Chairman Yuan Yafei, sang Happy Birthday together, and Chairman Yuan Yafei made his birthday wish. This time, Chairman Yuan Yafei sent a letter to the staff of Sanpower Group present and extended holiday greetings to compatriots across the globe, sharing the achievements and joy. Finally, Chairman Yuan Yafei delivered an inspiring speech. He encouraged all Sanpower staff to pursue perfection no matter whatever they do. “If one does things without the pursuit of perfection, how can there be struggle? If one doesn’t pursue completeness, how can there be sages? Only after one person achieves completeness, even if time passes by, there is no remorse!” This is what Sanpower Group’s spirit is about.

Yue Lei, Senior Vice President of Sanpower Group, served as Chief Director for this party, in cooperation with the Public Relations and Administration Centre, Culture and Brand Management Centre, Chairman Office, Chairman Administration Office, IT & Business Management Centre, Hirealty Property and other departments. This party was prepared two months in advance, showing Sanpower Group’s spirit of synergic cooperation and effective implementation. The program for this party wonderfully exhibited the new image of the “international and transformational Sanpower Group that serves the public”. In 2016, under the leadership of Chairman Yuan Yafei, the entire Sanpower Group staff will become united, strive together to create a greater brilliance.
