In January 2016, Jinpeng received a letter from the Wuhan Public Security Bureau, which thanked Jinpeng for its support in the construction of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau Police Command System and for its contributions in building the National Benchmark Police Command Centre. The letter encourages all Jinpeng employees.

This year, the police in Wuhan of Hubei Province focused on deepening reform of public security, accelerating detailed designs for smart police, vigorously developing the construction of the police command system, adopting advanced technologies, such as, “big data” and building smart applications “to analyse previous events and predict future ones” to improve the actual combat ability.

Jinpeng is a leader in the security industry, with strong technical support and rich experience in the area of smart police. In 2010, it built the first fully digital and high-definition urban video surveillance system for megacities—the Wuhan Smart Eye Project. In December 2015, Jinpeng undertook the construction of the Core Combat Command Centre of the Government Head SCO Summit’s safety guarantee of top-of-the-line emergency security command—a dispatch platform, which provides a full range of safety guarantees. At the beginning of this year, after undertaking construction of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau Police Command System, Jinpeng sent elite members to be stationed at the Wuhan Public Security Bureau, and these individuals went above and beyond to finish all their work attentively to ensure normal progress of this project. The construction content of the whole system includes basic environmental construction, system construction of business standard bodies, construction of data cloud platforms, construction of integrated command and schedule platforms, system security construction, construction of visual video conference systems and other projects. Centred on “resources and data integration,” aimed at “serving all police and actual combat,” with cloud computing, big data and other advanced technologies; they solved many tough problems while constructing the information infrastructure of the police command system, such as, resource replication, low sharing degrees, insufficient data handling capacities. They also assisted the Wuhan Public Security Bureau in the construction of perfect multi-dimensional systems for crime prevention and control, having achieved the actualisation, informatisation and technicalisation of police work, a contribution of wisdom and strength to build the Wuhan Police Command System, which is the “first in central China and top of the line here in China.”

Jinpeng and the Wuhan Public Security Bureau worked together to explore new ways for the transformation of public security prevention and control, implant the latest scientific and technological means into police actual combat and stride at the forefront of the country about the transformation and upgrade of police affairs in the age of “Internet +.” The smart police command system, built to great success, becomes the benchmark for police command centres across China, an example for public security bureaus all over the country to learn from.
