It is time, once again, to take up the inventory at the end of the year. To objectively and effectively evaluate the work performance, cultural practice and leadership ability of Sanpower Group’s cadres over the year, from late December 2015, Sanpower Management Academy has carried out several cadre report conferences, including the Group’s Presidents’ Office report conference, the Group’s cadres of the M11/P11 level and above report conference and vertical line report conference. They have also cooperated with HR departments of various platforms to carry out platform reports, which lasted for a month. Assessment results from the report conferences, as references for the annual assessment of cadres, will be fed back to the Human Resources Department.

Report conferences are held every year and have seen constant improvements. According to the introduction of Sanpower Management Academy, this year’s report conference has two characteristics when compared to that of last year: firstly, it has broader coverage because of its expansion to secondary platforms, while it’s mainly carried out between the Group and primary platforms last year, and the vertical line has also been expanded to include three lines, namely, broad finance, legal affairs and human resources, compared to the previous year which only had the financial line. Secondly, the content of the report placed more emphasis on synergic win-wins and the Seven Factors of the Sanpower Management System, which requires cadres who need to make reports illustrate their accomplishments and shortcomings around these two contents. Comments from this year are also generally more profound. In addition to evaluating the previous year’s work, it also iterates expectations for the cadres who have made reports to help them make more pointed progress.

On January 19 and 20, the highlight of the reports--the year-end report conference for leaders of the Group’s Presidents’ Office was held. Twenty-two leaders of Presidents’ Office and first heads of platforms walked onto the stage one after the other to review and summarise last year’s operations concerning their respective responsibilities. They showcased their accomplishments and revealed shortcomings at the same time, put forward improvement measures and illustrated ideas and initiatives to implement in the new year. Yuan Yafei, Chairman of the Group, and Yang Huaizhen, President of the Group, were present and lauded the work done in 2015 by all cadres who have made reports on their work in sequence, affirming the achievements of last year and also putting forward higher requirements and greater expectations as well.
