On 11 March, Yue Lei, Senior Vice President of Sanpower Group met with Simon Naudi, CEO of International Hotel Investments PLC (IHI) at the Corinthia hotel in London, for a morning discussion about cooperation in China.

Simon Naudi made a general introduction of IHI and Corinthia hotels. Corinthia is a luxury five-star hotel brand established by the Pisani family in Malta in 1962. The family has owned 13 luxury hotels and resorts in many countries around the world. Each hotel has its own exceptional style and incorporates unique and local architectural features and employs cultural tradition to provide the most considerate and thoughtful service. IHI is responsible for investment management of the hotel, and also provides relative technical support and management services for other hotels. Simon Naudi noted that he had always hoped to enter the market in China and is looking for strategic partners.

Yue Lei introduced the five industrial sectors and international development strategy of Sanpower Group, as well as the development logic that Sanpower promotes for the transformation and upgrading of the industry by “Go global”. He noted that Sanpower is willing to harness its commercial advantages and resources to develop hotel brands at home with IHI. Simon Naudi is very optimistic about the strategic layout of Sanpower Group and said he will visit Sanpower headquarters in Nanjing for in-depth discussions about cooperation.
