The Sanpower Employee Health Program (SEHP) was officially launched on 14 April in cooperation with Mikropis Holding of Slovenia. The 24alife (24 hours life) service was tailored to provide a 90-day relief health plan for Sanpower employees. Yue Lei, Sanpower Group Senior Vice President; Drago Napotnic, CEO of the Mikropis China branch office; Cui Chunlan, Sanpower Group President Assistant and Vice President of the Sanpower Management Academy and other Group executives who took part in the project, attended the launch.
Drago Napotnik introduced Mikropis and explained how 24alife, their main business, had expanded to the USA, Europe, Dubai and China. He went on to describe some details of 24alife which is primarily a health management tool that was designed by professionals in nutriology, medicine, kinesiology and psychology, provided a healthy life solution through the regular collection of objective data.
The first phase of the 90-day relief health program was carried out as a collaboration between Mikropis and the Sanpower Management Academy, and about 20 executives and employees took part. Using a series of special tests, the 24alife professional team collected initial health index data and provided tailored fitness schemes and diet for the each participant. After this the 24alife team comes back to Sanpower every week to collect more data and regularly adjust the health management program. At the same time, the Sanpower Management Academy is promoting the plan, according to feedback from the participants, to build a working environment of “positivity”.
As the originator and an active member of the program Yue Lei explained the relationship between Sanpower and Mikropis. Drago Napotnik had previously visited Sanpower more than once as the Consul-General of Slovenia in Shanghai and had also discussed cooperation with Mikropis. Yue Lei noted that the 90-day relief health program and employee physical examination and Sanpower Tai Chi was an extra means of caring for the health of the employees, which also enriched the Sanpower corporate culture. The launch of this program also marked the start of cooperation between Sanpower and Mikropis. It was an ideological, pragmatic, and substantial step. Yue Lei said he hoped that the program would enable them to realize “First do first try, and then move from point to area” and promote cooperation in the “Broad Health” field.
