Sanpower Group attends luncheon party held by Canada’s Minister of International Trade

On 8 July, the Canadian Consulate General in Shanghai held a luncheon party in Shanghai. Ms. Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Weldon Epp, Canadian Consul-General in Shanghai and Jiangsu and Zhejiang entrepreneur representatives attended the luncheon party. Yuan Lipeng, chief representative of Sanpower Group in Shanghai was invited to attend the luncheon party.
Ms. Chrystia Freeland said that the government of Canada attaches great importance to communication and cooperation between China and Canada in all fields. The two sides have extensive cooperation space in fields such as natural resources, agriculture and agricultural products, environment, aviation, financial legislation, and infrastructure and construction. International Trade Canada is pleased to provide an all-around service for companies investing in Canada and to act as a bridge for exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Canadian firms.
In the luncheon party, Yuan Lipeng and Consul-General Weldon Epp enjoyed an in-depth discussion. Two weeks earlier, Yue Lei, Senior Vice President of Sanpower Group, had met Weldon Epp and a Canadian delegation at the Group headquarters, where he introduced Sanpower Group’s investment strategy of “broad consumption, broad health and broad finance.” This time, as for the healthy and business aspects, Weldon Epp briefly introduced Canada’s many healthcare products and brands, good living environment for senior care and high qualified and low priced clothing brands. Both sides expressed their intention to continue communication and seek further opportunities for cooperation.
