High-level Executives of Intel Visited Sanpower Group to Discuss Retail Development Plans

On the 25th of April, Jon Stine, Global Director of Retail Sales from Intel, Gilberto Basilio-Sanchez , its Solutions Director, Yu Zhe, Executive Director of Retail Solutions for Greater China and Huang Hao, Client Director,paid a visit to Sanpower Group.Yuan Yafei, Chairman of Sanpower and Vice President Wang Mingyuan, warmly received them. Jon Stine and his colleagues first visited Sanpower Home’s Corporate Culture Showroom, Brookstone Concept Store, and Senior Care Command Centre. After learning about Sanpower’s industrial layout, its novel and unique scenario-based marketing and smart home care service, Jon Stine and his collegues spoke highly of its achievements.
During the discussion, Jon Stine said it was an honour for him to visit Sanpower and conduct exchanges with them. He briefed Yuan Yafei about the state of Intel’s retail solutions. The firm is currently committed to pushing back technological boundaries by using data and intelligent interconnected solutions to upgrade traditional retail. Jon Stine and his colleagues were especially interested in what Sanpower has done in retail in recent years and lauded their efforts in these fields, in particular its commitment to offline scenarios, increasing interactive experience, and building Commerce 4.0.
Yuan Yafei told the guests that Sanpower along with its affiliate platforms and strategic partners had in recent years acquired Brookstone,an American novelty retailer, House of Fraser, a British department store that has been around for over 100 years and the British toy shop Hamleys, bringing into China advanced overseas supply chain and business models and successfully implementing them. According to him,Sanpower has been experimenting in the retail sector, planning to use electronic sports as a starting point to transform retail. Yuan Yafei also said he would send a team to visit Intel and learn more about its retail solutions.
In closing, both parties said they would continue to conduct exchanges and set up working groups to discuss further cooperation.
