The 9th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demo Day as well as the 5th Anniversary of Microsoft Accelerator was held in Beijing on June 27 and as a cohort representative, Mr. Li Lei, CTO of Sanpower Group, attended the event and delivered a speech.
Li Jiang, CTO of Microsoft China, and Lin Hong, Cohort Ecology Executive Manager of Microsoft China, expressed warm welcome to Mr. Li Lei and the two parties made in-depth talks on future development and cooperation. Mr. Li Lei stated that Sanpower attached great importance to the development of big data and hoped to actively promote cooperation with Microsoft to push innovation in new consumption, new health and other industries.

Facing the transformation and upgrading of retail industry, Sanpower has been working on big data and cloud computing business. On March 28 this year, the “new consumption and new ecology” full-channel big data platform of Sanpower was officially released.
Years of placement and accumulation make Sanpower equipped with high-quality genes of O2O integration. From offline, Sanpower has the strength of strong and unique multi-industry, multi-format placement; from online, it ownsChina’s leading mature platform and an excellent technical R&D team. The launch of the full-channel big data platform can reconcile the service, experience, logistics and other advantages of Sanpower’s offline business with its online business flow, data flow and information flow, so as to quickly realize efficiency uplift, mode reengineering and service promotion, and hence, to ultimately complete its intelligent, data-based full-channel layout.
The group’s full-channel big data platform is committed to focusing on the “user” marketing content, mining user value. By recording the real life and digital life tracks of the user group under all the business scenarios in the group system, the platform can understand user demands and predict user behaviors in a digital, intelligent, and precise way. In the future, the data platform will also link up the business divisions including “new consumption” and “new health”, and positively explore the detailed means as artificial intelligence, Internet payment, supply chain integration, logistics system synergy to coin a benign ecological closed loop.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demo Day is the largest annual brand event of Microsoft Accelerator, which aims to show the accelerating innovative results of the “Microsoft Innovation Ecosystem”. It has been awarded “China’s Best Incubator” and “China’s Best Maker Space” for five consecutive years and is no doubt a gala of technical vane attracting venture capital in high technology and big data. Up to now, the project has accelerated 140 start-ups, 93% of which obtain a new round of financing in the acceleration period. The total valuation of the accelerated start-ups is over 40 billion RMB, with the valuation growth rate at 600%.
