Nowadays, horse racing, one of the most time-honored aristocratic sports, is going plebian. From “aristocratic sport” to popular pastime, horse racing has undergone a sea change. But British horse racing remains one of the most authentic, bona-fide emblems of British culture.
On August 4, Festival of British Eventing, presented by British Eventing owned by Peter Phillips, son of Princess Royal Anne, organized by the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) and sponsored by House of Fraser, took place at Gatcombe Park, the spectacular home of the Princess Royal and her family in Gloucestershire.
The festival lasted 3 days, when several world’s top equestrians competing for 4 cross country courses. The passion of horse racing and the speed of equine superstars were breathtaking while being in tune with the elegance of British culture. Numerous media and spectators were attracted.
As sponsor of the event, HOF built a water jump to add piquancy. After the event closed Captain Mark Phillips praised the efficient execution of HOF and sent a personal letter of thanks to Frank Slevin, HOF’s executive chairman. He wrote he was very grateful that HOF sponsored the new water jump which was much appreciated and applauded by riders and spectators.

On September 15. Xuzhou Sanpower International Plaza will celebrate the grand opening, and HOF, as one of the anchor stores, will bring refreshing British fashion to Xuzhou citizens.
