On November 9, the Headquarters of Sanpower Group greeted guests from afar. Led by Wang Yixin, Vice Governor of Shanxi Province, Zhang Jinwang and Sun Haichao, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Government of Shanxi Province, as well as heads of Shanxi Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanxi Provincial Government, Shanxi Provincial Finance Office, Shanxi Development and Reform Commission and other departments visited Sanpower Group (Sanpower). The guests first visited Sanpower Home to learn about Sanpower's development history, business layout and globalization process. In the healthcare sector, they paid close attention to Sanpower's business in cord blood stem cell storage, senior care, and Provenge, the first and only FDA-approved cellular immunotherapy against prostate cancer in the world now acquired by Sanpower. At the Brookstone concept store, they found a wide variety of novel products fresh and new. Some of them hoped that there would be Brookstone novelty stores in Shanxi.

 

During the visit, the guests were amazed by Sanpower's leap forward, speaking highly of Sanpower's ambition of "building a great national enterprise for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and its corporate culture of "perfection before crossover".

Later,Chairman Yuan Yafei, together with some senior executives, held talks with the delegation. According to Governor Wang, as an important energy base and old industrial base, and a national comprehensive pilot reform zone for resource-based economic transformation, Shanxi plays a significant role in advancing the reform and development of resource-based economic transformation. It is commendable that Sanpower has grown from a small business with a registered capital of 20,000 yuan into a big company with annual sales of 130 billion yuan. Yuan appreciated the cooperation sincerity of the People's Government of Shanxi Province. Sanpower will bring in quality resources from abroad through M&A, integrate domestic and foreign resources, and manufacture and sell fine products, aiming at promoting the supply-side structural reform, consumption transformation and upgrading. By developing its superior industries in an integrated way, Sanpower can effectively drive the upgrade of new urban industries, and build a model zone for the transformation and upgrading of modern service sectors.
