Nanjing breezes into the pleasant autumn season at the beginning of October. While enjoying the falling leaves and autumn colors, we also look forward to blossoming flowers in spring.  This month, Sanpower's charity efforts focused on the care for the disadvantaged, green and low carbon, and employee care.

October 1-7

During the National Day holiday, organizers from the Water Droplet Charity Group opened a donation point at House of Fraser, Nanjing Store in Xinjiekou for their "Rural Classroom Book Corner Program". They received a total of 608 books and 3,879 yuan in cash from 106 children during the week. These donations will help to set upbook corners in every classroom in rural primary schools.

 

 

 

October 19 and 26

The Trade Union and HR Department of House of Fraser, Nanjing Store, organized a charity walk themed "New Journey, Green Xuanwu". With a full length of some 6.6 kilometers and a total of 120 participants, the event aimed to demonstrate a healthy and positive mentality, establish a scientific fitness concept, and encourage green travel, civilized behaviors and environmental protection. Another objective was to relieve pressure at work and in life by combining fun and fitness, allowing employees to show our fine tradition of solidarity, fraternity and mutual help. Employees also experienced the fun and passion of sports while indulging in the beauty of nature at the same time.

 

 

 

October 26

Fang Liang, deputy to the People's Congress of Jinghu District, Wuhu and General Manager of Wuhu Nanjing Cenbest Co., Ltd. donated chairs and tables worth nearly 10,000 yuan to the Party Member Club of Ouxiangyuan Community, Tingtang Public Service Center on behalf of the company. The contribution sought to improve the community's working and operating conditions, hence allowing it serve the people better.

 

October 27

On the eve of the Double Ninth Festival, Sanpower's official WeChat and Weibo accounts organized an event themed “Parental Care” to showcase the new image of the aged living a good life in the new times.

 

 

October 28

Today marks the opening of the 7th Sanpower Games. Apart from the regular sports events, the organizers have also prepared special programs for the employees' children. Children's laugher could be heard everywhere and the joy could be felt by everyone. Through the games, Sanpower employees shared their positive outlook for work and life.
