On December 7, Winston Kan, Commercial Counselor at the Canadian Embassy in China and Yvonna Zou, Senior Commercial Officer at the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai visited Sanpower Group (Sanpower). Mark Logan, Head of Global Communications & Senior Director of Branding at Sanpower Group and Liu Hao, Director of the International Affairs Management Center received the visitors.
At the meeting, Kan gave an overview of Alberta Province, saying that many Canadian SMEs are the very best in their respective niches, one example being medical imaging.
Mark warmly welcomed the visitors and introduced Sanpower's development over the years. Sanpower has made great efforts in cultural brand building as it expands globally. Within only half a decade, Sanpower has become one of the largest Chinese employers in Britain and Israel. The fact that a great many local elites and professionals work for Sanpower and its subsidiaries has stimulated the sustained innovation power and enthusiasm of its foreign employees, thus enhancing its international competitiveness. Kan spoke highly of Sanpower’s achievement in this respect. The two sides agreed that more opportunities for cooperation await in the retail and medical fields.
