May 12, 2015 - A governmental delegation led by Invest Hong Kong Director General, Simon Galpin, visited Sanpower Group Headquarters to attend discussions on potential cooperation opportunities. The delegation was received by Sanpower Group’s Senior Vice President Yue Lei, and was given a tour of the Sanpower Home Showroom. Sanpower’s Foreign Cooperation Management Centre Director Zhang Yingjian and Public Relations and Administration Director Hu Leiyong also accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.

Expressing his gratitude for the delegation visit, Mr. Yue noted that the Group had entered a period of entrepreneurial rebirth, international development and transformation. This transition is evidenced in the Group’s subsidiary, Hiteker’s acquisition of Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed IDT International. Through its subsidiaries, the Group has instituted both the human resources and organization framework necessary to expand its Hong Kong businesses. Mr. Yue expressed that given that Hong Kong is Asia's Wealth, R&D and Business Centre, InvestHK can harness these strengths and assert its position as a bridge to Hong Kong’s investment platform.

Simon Galpin expressed his appreciation of the importance that Mr. Yue attaches to InvestHK’s role, adding that Hong Kong is home to many start-up enterprises that seek cooperation with dynamic conglomerates such as Sanpower Group. Mr. Galpin then invited Sanpower to attend an InvestHK-organized special event that will seek to foster links between Hong Kong start-ups and multinational enterprises. The event will take place in January of 2016.
