Sanpower Group becomes member of China Enterprises Association in Britain

July 15 - China Enterprises Association in Britain (CEAB) held the 2015 annual meeting in London, with over 80 representatives from its 58 member companies in attendance. Mr. Jin Xu, Minister Counsellor of the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, delivered a speech. Sanpower Group was invited to the meeting as a new member, where it conducted general communications and established contacts with other members of CEAB.
On July 10, Sanpower was officially approved to be a member of CEAB after CEAB directors’ group discussion and examination. Later, Sanpower Group will actively participate in CEAB activities and will run for council member next year.
During the meeting, Si Bingjun, President of CEAB, delivered an annual working report presentation on behalf of the association and outlined its work plans for the upcoming year. Consul-General of the Chinese Embassy in the UK made a report regarding China's consular efforts, with Counsellor Fei Mingxing elaborating on consular protection issues to the attendees. The meeting was concluded by conducting a secret ballot among new association members and nominating 10 new directors of CEAB.

Officially registered in the UK on May 11th, 2007, CEAB aims to promote mutual company communication, information exchange and business cooperation among Chinese enterprises in the UK. The mission of CEAB is to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its members, and to improve the business environment for them. Over the past 10 years, CEAB has made substantial contributions to the expansion of China-UK economic cooperation as well as the improvement of China-UK friendship. The association has gained strong support from the Chinese government. Currently, CEAB is transitioning its role towards a chamber of commerce, which will play a more crucial role in politics and business between China and UK.
