The China’s Top 500 Enterprises Conference and China’s Large Enterprises Summit in 2013, sponsored by the China Enterprise Confederation and Chinese Entrepreneurs’ Association, was opened in Kunming, Yunnan Province on August 31^st. The rankings of China's  Top 500 Enterprises in 2013, Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, and Top 500 Service Enterprises were all released at the Summit, thereby announcing Nanjing Cenbest's ascension into China's  Top 500 Service Enterprises in 2013.  

The Summit focused on the theme of “Strengthening and Leading: Large Enterprise Development in the Context of Economic Growth”, and welcomed contributions and discussion on future prospects from experts, governmental departments, and enterprises from China's Top 500 Enterprises. The data collected shows that China's Top 500 Service Enterprises in 2013 saw a slowdown in the growth of their operating revenue, but, for the first time, their growth rate exceeded that of the manufacturing industry. Meanwhile, the modern service industry's transformation and refinement continues to show a steady trend and development, with the modern service industry representing more than half of the overall service industry for the first time in 2013.

By means of integration, modification and innovation, Nanjing Cenbest has achieved great growth in terms of business scale and economic success over the past two years, and its strong development trends and good development prospects have been recognised by the industry. In the future, Cenbest will assume the important task of further developing the nation's general merchandise, of achieving its “100 of China’s largest cities and 1,000 cities” blueprint, and of becoming a well-received “century-old store”.
