In the past 2014 National Holidays, Sanpower Group’s subsidiary Hisap, a professional IT chain enterprise and Funtalk, a professional telecommunication chain enterprise did a good job in the sale and achieved a splendid sale performance. On October 17, 2014, Sanpower Group held a grand honouring ceremony to award those staff with an outstanding performance in the “National Day Campaign”, and colleagues working in the front line for a long time. Yuan Yafei, Chairman of Sanpower Group attended the ceremony and presented the awards to the winners and made an important speech. Yang Huaizhen, Chairman of the Group read the award decisions. Xin Kexia, Chairman of Hisap and Fei Dongping, Chairman of Funtalk summed up the sales performance during National Day respectively. Fu Biaobang, senior Vice Chairman of the Group and Ma Tianjun, Vice Chairman of the Group attended the ceremony. Yue Lei, the Vice Chairman hosted the ceremony and over 500 employees attended the ceremony, which included representatives of well-performing regions and excellent stores of Hisap and Funtalk, winners of dedication awards, staff from the headquarters who stay in Nanjing and training personnel of Eagle Plan, as well as the management teams from headquarters of Funtalk Telecommunications, each region of Hisap and Funtalk attended the ceremony via video conference.

In the National Day promotion campaign, under the efforts of all staff, Hisap achieved a sale fulfillment rate of 115%, up 53% year on year and 54% for individual store year on year, while the comprehensive gross profit rate also witnessed an increase. Xin Kexia, Chairman of Hisap named the reasons for winning the campaign, such as a high morale of the team, a good communication, excellent implementation of marketing plans, overtime work and excellent fulfillment of responsibility by all staff and the active marketing of store managers and frontline staff. He said that Hisap would work harder in the next step and focus on the sale task of the fourth quarter.

For Funtalk team, the National Day golden week made them more excited than ever: they sold more than 120,000 cellphones in 7 days and developed 43,300 new contract subscribers. Fei Dongping, Chairman of Funtalk Telecommunications said that the competition activities during the golden week made the frontline stores and teams feel the energy and power of Sanpower Group headquarters for the first time, which was more exciting than the good sale achievements. Besides, being able to join Sanpower, the large modernised group means that the retail business of Funtalk will expect a wider development margin and a stronger support.

Yang Huaizhen, Chairman of the Group read the Award Decisions for Hisap and Funtalk Excellent Teams and Staff during 2014 National Day Promotion. 60 Store managers including Cao Yuanming, store manager of Anhui region of Hisap, and Zheng Hongmin, store manager of Shanghai region of Funtalk won the award of “Elite Store Manager". Five teams including Shanghai Funtalk won the award of “Good Performing Team", and four employees including Wang Xiaoli, retail manager of Shanghai region of Hisap won the award of “Dedication”. Chairman Yuan presented the certificates and trophies to the winners. Two winner representatives made a speech, expressed their thanks to the group, and promised that they would cherish the honour and work even harder, stand together with the enterprise through the storms and stresses and move toward a better future.

This is the first time for Sanpower Group to award the “fighters” in the National Day promotion. Chairman Yuan made a bow to all the winners before he made the final speech, and expressed his thanks to the effort of every employee. Chairman Yuan also mentioned that the good performance Hisap and Funtalk made during the National Holiday proved the truth that “hard work will be rewarded” and “a positive mindset will bring success”.

Funtalk Telecommunications is a new member to the big family of Sanpower Group. Chairman Yuan reviewed his establishment of Sanpower Group, explained the true meaning of naming the group as Sanpower and summarised the advantages of Sanpower culture and its important role in the enterprise development.

Hisap and Funtalk Telecommunications belong to the commercial trade industries of the Group. Later Chairman Yuan explained his thought and analysis on retail industry in a simple way. According to him, the retailers should bear the sense of responsibility, and the impact of Internet on retail is not threatening. We should, therefore, devote to retail with an Internet mindset.

At last, Chairman Yuan emphasised his requirements to the cadres again: first it’s respect, implementation, understanding and trust; second, it’s “loyal and professional”, thirdly it is “three must, three not-afraid”: withstand the hardships that other people cannot bear, learn the things that other people are unwilling to learn, and think of the things that other people dare not think; not afraid of bitterness, difficulties and trouble.

The honouring ceremony clearly reflected that Chairman Yuan cares about the frontline staff, recognises the achievements made during the 2014 National Day holidays, expresses his caring and support for Hisap and Funtalk to step into a new stage and a new era. The speech of Chairman Yuan was forward-looking and meaningful, which was a rational and practical report on the overall thinking and long-term development based on a new start and a new era.
