Sanpower Group invited to "Great Festival of Creativity"

On January 16, 2015, Deputy Consul-General of British Consulate-General Shanghai Mr. Forbes visited Sanpower Group, and formally invited it to participate in the "Great Festival of Creativity" that will be held in Shanghai this March. Vice President of Sanpower Group Yue Lei and Vice President Wu Gang warmly received Forbes and his entourage, and accepted the invitation.
Accompanied by Vice President Wu Gang, Forbes and his entourage first visited the headquarters of Sanpower Group and the Showroom of Sanpower Home, and learned about Sanpower's development process, Sanpower Dreams and Sanpower's development blueprint. Forbes appreciated Sanpower Group's warm and sincere reception, marvelled at its colossal business scope and arenas, and looked forward to cooperation between the Group and British enterprises in more fields. The "Great Festival of Creativity" is, so to speak, a good opportunity. Forbes presented an overview of the event, announcing that the "Great Festival of Creativity" will be hosted in Shanghai from March 2 to 4, 2015. The event, which is an important continuation of "The GREAT Britain" campaign, is scheduled not only to promote a vital and vibrant UK for the audience, but also provide a good opportunity for business leaders to learn more about the important role of creative industries in the UK and global business development. During the three-day event, the business elites and pioneers from all walks of life will present the guests with a feast with endless imagination through a series of unique master lectures as well as speeches full of rich examples, etc. Prince William will also attend the opening ceremony of the festival. Forbes further invited Sanpower Group to participate in the event as a partner, thereby becoming the first Chinese partner of the event.
Vice President of Sanpower Group Yue Lei made a positive response to Forbes' gracious invitation, saying that Sanpower Group and its subsidiaries had completed quite a few overseas M&As in 2014, including the time-honoured British department store House of Fraser (HOF). International and transnational development will still be Sanpower's main strategy in its future, and it will move on at a non-stop and non-rash tempo. Since its entry into the UK market by virtue of the purchase of HOF, Sanpower has opened a strategic door. Therefore, its investment in the UK will not remain still, and it will continue to disseminate the "Good Voice of Sanpower" in the UK in whatever ways. Sanpower Group is fairly willing to prioritise Britain as the optimal international investment and development front, and presently it is looking for more business and investment opportunities in the UK while centring on Sanpower Group's existing industries.
Vice President Yue Lei officially accepted the invitation of the "Great Festival of Creativity". He said that as a private enterprise that invests in the UK, Sanpower Group attaches great importance to the series of important events in the 2015 China-Britain Culture Year, in which the "Great Festival of Creativity" will be the main event among a series of activities, and Sanpower Group will be actively involved. Yue also wished the "Great Festival of Creativity" a great success, adding that Sanpower Group is more willing to deepen bilateral friendship, enhance mutual understanding, and reach more consensuses through the cooperation in this event.
