April is the best time of the year with warm spring breeze. This month, Sanpower Charity has carried out a series of activities with the theme of caring for the elderly and learning from the spirit of model workers, with the hope of spreading charitable acts.

Love Other's Elderly as You Want Yours to be Loved by Others

On April 18, social workers from Jinpeng Social Work Service Center in Guangzhou together with Huaying community residents committee and Huaying Community Health Center gave a lecture on nutrition and health knowledge for the middle and old age people at Jinpeng Services of Huaying Community. They shared views on healthcare for the residents of Huaying Community.

On April 19, Hirealty Party Branch organized all party members and party activists to visit the old people in the Yuhuan District Nursing Home and made dumplings for them. The volunteers of the Party members took the fillings prepared in advance and accompanied the old people to make dumplings. Meanwhile they talked about their hometowns and the hall was filled with laughter.

Simple as the activity was, it was a chance for party members to appreciate the needs of the elderly and enhance the sense of respect and care for them.

Carry Forward the Spirit of Model Workers and Gather Strong Positive Energy

On April 18, the opening ceremony of activity Cheer for Hardworking Model Workers organized by Cenbest Group, with support from Nanjing Academy of Painting and Calligraphy opened in Cenbest, Wuhu, in the hopes of encouraging good work ethics.

On April 28, paintings and art works exhibition opened at Cenbest Nanjing Center Plaza in Nanjing under the same theme, and an exhibition was set up on the 2nd floor corridor of Block B of Cenbest. Artists from Nanjing Academy of Painting and Calligraphy created their work on site.

On April 19, Wuhu Cenbest Xue Fang Work Stiudio held a volunteer recruitment event at North Building Pedestrian Street. At the activity, volunteers provided free leather shoe shining, haircuts and legal consultation for the pedestrians. After the activity, the volunteers went to the community to carry out volunteer service activities such as house cleaning and air-conditioning cleaning. The activity attracted a large number of Cenbest employees and citizens to join the effort.
